ism #15 (January 17, 2008)
If an artist has to censor himself, then who shall make sense out of the humanity that people
choose to ignore out of righteousness or fear. Cultures make judgments about pieces of
humanity that reflect indignation towards those who judge differently. Who then will be the
ones that embrace all humanity within one?
It is the selfish who demand arbitrary perfection attempting to stitch together elements of
human behavior that benefit them most. The truest of intentions exist when humanity
accepts the interactions of behaviors that balance one another, in relationship with one
another. The answer lies in the balance, rather than one isolated element of humanity.
